Powerful powershift transmissions
Save time, reduce fuel consumption, protect technology and increase feed efficiency at the same time - BvL has powerful feed mixers with different Powershift transmissions for this purpose. The 2-speed and 3-speed Powershift transmissions really come into their own when processing large loads.
Simple operation
The systems impress with their significantly reduced starting torque, which makes it much easier to start the machine under load and protects the tractor's PTO clutch.
Operation is particularly simple and user-friendly in the standard version. This gives the user all the options and freedom in operation.
Variants of the Powershift gearboxes
The 2-speed Powershift transmission enables operation with both the 540 and 1000 PTO shafts. This means that four different mixing auger speeds can be realised. The 3-speed Powershift gearbox, on the other hand, is only operated with an input speed of 1000 rpm and can map three different mixing auger speeds with just one input speed (starting - mixing - emptying).
The power is transmitted 100% mechanically within the gearbox. Energy loss in the form of heat is therefore almost completely avoided. The cooling capacity of the standard cooling units is therefore minimised and the gearboxes can be operated continuously.
Gentle start-up saves power and protects the technology
Once the feed mixer wagon has started up gently in first gear, second and then third gear can be shifted easily under load - without interrupting the power transmission. This saves power and technology. The user can vary between the individual gears as required. The fast gear is usually used for complete emptying and the mixer wagon is spun free.
